How much have you ever cost an employer-- or FORMER employer in this case? A malfunctioning radio has led to one person losing his job and a car dealership picking up the rest of a customer’s car loan. The dealership is making things right-- and then some!

In the end, some good will come out of this story. In June, a woman from Loveland took her Kia Soul into the dealership where she bought it – Peak Kia North in Windsor-- after the radio stopped working properly.  Turns out an employee there wasn’t working properly, either.

After four days, the woman picked up her car to discover that not only was the radio still not working right, but the guy who worked on her car had taken it to use as his personal vehicle during that time, too. Her dashboard camera captured the whole thing-- where he went, what he did, even his [horrible] singing, all while putting 200 miles on her Soul.

There was no denying that the worker had no reason to take her car out on such ‘test drives.’ That worker was fired from the dealership. The woman wanted some further restitution in the form of Peak Kia North paying off the remainder of her car loan. It seems a bit extreme, but Peak Kia North agreed to her terms!

Wow.

But – the dealership has a great plan to not only make things right with the woman but to help out the community as well. They’re going to pay off the woman’s loan (there’s no information on how much was left on her loan), take the car back, and sell it in an auction for charity!

Well played, Peak Kia North, well played!
