Last week yet another Starbucks opened it's doors in Northern Colorado. This time in Loveland, making five of the popular chain stores in that city alone. Some talk poorly about the chain and prefer smaller coffee shops, but others can't function without making a stop at Starbucks each morning. One thing is for sure... People are buying a lot of $6 cups of coffee because these places continue to pop up like weeds. What's your favorite coffee shop?

The new Starbucks occupies the former Good Times and Taco John's building at 1535 Rocky Mountain Ave. in the Marketplace at Centerra.

This trend of coffee shops isn't going anywhere either... At the present time there are approximately 30,000 Coffee Shops across the country. Statistics show there will be approximately 50,000+ Coffee Shops by the year 2014. Specialty coffee sales are increasing by 20% per year and account for nearly 8% of the 18 billion dollar U.S. coffee market. Independent coffee shops equal $12 billion in annual sales.
