There truly is nothing else like a white Christmas. It tops off the whole feeling for the holiday. Even though we didn't wake up to snow, it did break the Christmas day record.

As the Coloradoan reported, five inches of snow fell on Christmas day at the CSU Weather Station.

The last time we saw a white Christmas in Fort Collins was in 2012, when 3.1 inches of snow fell. This year's snowfall broke a record dating back to 1894, when 3.8 inches fell. In 121 years of record keeping, it has snowed on Christmas Day 14 times.

Now, I don't know about you, but one the things I love about Colorado is the snow! So I am very excited to see the white stuff and it made the holiday with my daughters very special!
