I know if we could all answer the question 'what's the secret to a great marriage', we wouldn't have a 50% divorce rate in the U.S. I'm one of the extremely blessed people who don't come from a divided home.  Though, what a weird little kid I was because I always thought my friends who had two houses and got two birthday parties, and pretty much two of anythings were the lucky ones.  It wasn't until I got older that I appreciated my parents' ability to raise me and still make time for one another.

I often ask them about what makes a successful relationship/marriage and as much as I would like to have some sage beyond wise advice they simple say play.  Play?  They say always make time for one another and always have fun together because as times are hard you always need to know that you have each other's back.  What advice do you have?
