I came across a blog awhile back that posted the question "what gives you the willies?"  There were a few of the common responses like snakes, spiders, blood, metal on metal and chalk.  As I read all the answers I found myself identifying with a lot of them and getting completely squeamish.  But, when I really thought about it, there are two things that gross me out worse than all others, and those are PEELING SKIN/PAPER CUTS and GRUBS/SLUGS. I wouldn't call these  "phobias" because I can deal with them if I have to, but it's hard.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ANSWER BELOW!

Here are some of the more obscure answers I've heard:

  • excess mayonnaise on a sandwich
  • kids wiggling loose teeth
  • butter
  • styrofoam
  • sticky hands
  • scraping fingernail on a zipper
  • touching your eyeball (contacts)
  • slugs and earwigs
  • licking wooden spoons
  • drawers being left open (perhaps a Poltergeist fear)
