Did you know adults aren't allowed to wear Disney character costumes to Walt Disney World?  Neither did I; and unfortunately, neither did April Spielman.

The Huffington Post reports April wanted to make her boyfriend's first trip to the park a special one, so they dressed up as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell and set out for what they thought would be a day full of Disney magic.  Unfortunately, that day was cut short by park rules.

Disney prohibits guests from wearing "adult costumes or clothing that can be viewed as representative of an actual Disney character."

I guess I get why the rule is in place.  Kids could get confused by a bunch of people running around wearing Disney costumes.  Still, I feel like a warning would have sufficed, rather than forcing her to change.  What do you think?
