If you’re looking for work in the finance industry, I’m guessing there is a position opening up at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

One of their financial business managers was showing off her new handgun to another employee and accidentally fired the gun inside the school!

No one was seriously hurt, according to The Denver Channel, but the handgun’s owner did lose her job and said,

It was an accident, It's my fault, and I'm so sorry.

Now, my first question is, “Why the heck did she have a gun with her at school?” But there was a valid reason for that, apparently she had been concerned about a suspicious man that had been following her around campus. She did also have a valid concealed carry permit.

Fair enough.

But, my next question of, “Why are you whipping out your gun and showing it to co-workers,” has no answer.

Just imagine any one of your co-workers walking in to your office and saying, “Check this out,” and then whipping out a handgun. A little creepy and a little scary, maybe?

Doesn’t really seem like the time or the place.

I can see it happening at an outdoors shop, or a shooting range, but not at a dental school. I like to think that the plaque scrapers and Novocain needles are the deadliest weapons I’d encounter there.
