Two unoccupied cars parked behind Wilbur's Total Beverage were a total loss after getting engulfed in fire on Sunday (August 14, 2016). According to the Coloradoan, the first car, a Mercury Mountaineer caught fire due to a spark in the engine compartment. The blaze from the Mountaineer became hot enough to ignite the second car, a Toyota Camry. The Wilbur's Total Beverage located on South College Avenue was evacuated, and Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire, however, at this time foul play or arson is not believed involved.
