My daughter is a bold, smart, saucy little 3 1/2-year-old. Lately she has been expressing emotions with a lot of "I hate ___" and "I don't want to" and yucky little scrunchy nose faces to go with it. She is really rough with her younger brothers and not very nice to the dog. We don't see her sweet side very often. All the little tricks and lessons we use seem to be falling on the fingers in her ears. We know this is mostly a phase. So, last night when watching the Budweiser Super Bowl Clydesdale commercial, my husband and I were so moved and excited, to see genuine tears well up in her eyes at the love and bond that could be between a man and a horse. It was neat to see even at her young age this emotion come all on it's own. Job well done Budweiser!

My name is Kama and I'm a Mom...and that just freaks me out sometimes. I'm a bunch of other things that used to seem really important, but somehow being a Mom blurs those other things into mush. I have a 3-1/2 year old daughter and infant twin boys. Everyday I have a "holy s**t, I can't believe I'm a Mom" moment and those get shared here.
