Trespasser Crawls into Girl’s Bed in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police are searching for the man who broke into a girl's room, crawled into bed with her, and attempted to pull her underwear down Monday morning around 2 a.m.

"The juvenile victim was awoken by a knocking sound at her bedroom window," say police. "The male suspect climbed through the child's bedroom window."

The attacker left through the bedroom window after the 9-year-old girl screamed.

"[I] came in the room and she's just hysterically screaming about some guy was in here," said the victim's father.

Police are searching for the attacker, described as a white man with a medium to heavy build, bald with facial hair on his chin. A light-colored minivan, possibly a Ford or Mercury, was observed in the area around 20 minutes before the attempted assault.
