Trader Joe’s is Coming To Fort Collins, Colorado

First we hear that Timnath is getting a Costco, and now the Coloradoan is reporting that a Trader Joe's will finally be coming to Fort Collins!

The popular urban grocer has signed a lease to open its fifth Colorado store at The Square, 3500 S. College Ave., the home of Hobby Town USA, the Bible Superstore and others.

This will be Colorado's fifth Trader Joe's location.

I've only been to a Trader Joe's store once, on a trip to Seattle a few years ago. It was neat, but I didn't understand why it had such a massive following, hopefully with one in town I'll find out why so many people love this place.

I'm pretty sure Trader Joe's has been mentioned just about every time someone asks, "What stores to you want to see in Fort Collins?" So, I'm guessing there will a be a lot of squeals of joy for this news.

The Coloradoan is reporting that the Fort Collins Trader Joe's will be opening in late 2014 and that fans of TJ's 'Two Buck Chuck' wine will be sorely disappointed...because of Colorado liquor laws only one of their stores will be able to have a full liquor license and sell the wine, and that has already been approved in one of their soon-to-be-open Denver locations.
