Berthoud, CO has a new mayor. Steve Mulvihill won a special mayoral election on Tuesday.

According to unofficial results from the Loveland Reporter Herald, Mulvihill took 773 of the 1,593 votes cast or 49 percent. Jim Russo was 2nd with 545 votes and May Soricelli had 275.

The special election was held because of the resignation of mayor-elect Pete Cowdin following last April's election.
