If you thought Colorado had bad drivers, wait until you travel to one of these states over the holidays.

Luckily Colorado didn't make the top 10 list of states with the worst holiday drivers, as put together by CarInsuranceComparison.com, but perhaps the bad drivers are from Colorado? Who knows (and hopefully not), but if you're hitting the road to visit family and friends in one of these states over the holidays, be extra cautious:

#9 - South Carolina
#8 - North Dakota
#7 - Delaware
#6 - New Mexico
#5 - Nevada
#4 - Alabama
#3 - Arizona
#2 - Montana
#1 - Texas (tie)
#1 - Louisana (tie)

According to USA TODAY, placement of this list was determined by analyzing data from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration in 5 categories: fatalities per 100 million miles traveled, failure to obey traffic signals or wear seat belts, drunk driving, speeding, and careless driving.
