Throwback Thursday – What the Heck is ‘Up’ with Chad Michael Murray’s Shirt?

So about 4 years ago I met Chad Michael Murray, and comments about his shirt in this photo have haunted me ever since I first shared it on Facebook.

My friends and I were extras for the movie To Write Love On Her Arms (originally to be called Renee, then later changed to Day One, and finally changed to TWLOHA), a movie about - what else? - the life of Renee Yohe, played by Kat Dennings, and the founding of To Write Love on Her Arms by Jamie Tworkowski, played by the gorgeous Chad Michael Murray. The scene I played an extra in was some public speaking thing, and it was filmed at the school I went to in Orlando, Florida, called Full Sail University.

Security was very tight and wouldn't allow us to take pictures with Chad Michael Murray on the set (though I could easily snap a photo with co-star Corbin Bleu). Once we left, my friend and I spotted Chad and Kat Dennings walking across the parking lot. Of course, we ran up to them and asked for a picture with Chad, pretty much ignoring Kat (which I regret, because she's amazing and now I really wish I'd taken a picture with her).

After I had my photo taken with Chad Michael Murray and it was posted on Facebook, the awkward comments began flooding in: "What the heck is up with his shirt? Is that a........!?"

No, no....trust me, he was NOT that excited to see me. It's literally just his plaid shirt tied around his waist....looking awkward as hell. (Plus, he looks super tired and annoyed, so...)
