According to scientists from the University of Exeter, a compound found in the rancid smells from rotten eggs and flatulence, could help with the cell damage!

They found that cellular exposure to small amounts of the compound could help prevent damage. Meaning that it could help prevent strokes, arthritis, heart disease and so on. The article goes into more scientific detail but it does state that the research is just preliminary right now with no real conclusions, but next time you smell a rotten egg smell or a toot just remember that it could be helping you out!
