I have been on a 90's music kick lately, and I am talking about everything from 1990 - 1999. It doesn't matter if it is a boy band...slow song...or 90's hip hop. When I hear a 90's song come on, I crank it up!

There are definitely artists that struck it rich in the 90's that I think, if they came back, could have an impact on listener's ears today. So here is who I think could resurrect their 90's music career and become a superstar in 2015.

5.) NATALIE IMBRUGLIA

Natalie Imbruglia had a HUGE hit with "Torn" in 1997, with legendary radio personality Rick Dees calling it the top song of the entire decade. While she had a couple decent hits in the United States off the album Left of the Middle, she lost her traction in the US but was still a superstar in Australia.

With the success of Ellie Goulding and other international acts in 2015, I think if Imbruglia tried to make a return to the US music scene she would be a success.

4.) BRANDY

Remember Brandy? She was a HUGE star in the 90's, and we saw her almost make a comeback a few years ago when she was a judge on America's Got Talent. However, she got into a car accident which took someone's life which put everything on hold for her.

She was working on her seventh studio album, however critics wonder if it will bring her the success she had in the 90's. Me? I think it would and if she picks the right song could definitely be someone to watch for in 2015.

3.) TLC

We all know the tragedy that hit TLC years ago when Left Eye was tragically killed, but I think T-Boz and Chilli could still be force themselves in 2015. They've definitely stayed in everyone's minds with the television commercials they have done as of recently.

Think about all the hit songs they had. "Unpretty", "Creep", "Push It", among many others. Music in 2015 is missing this type of sound and if they put their all behind it, they could again become a powerhouse in the industry.

2.) SAVAGE GARDEN

OK...So here is one group that I don't think could replicate the same sound they had in the 90's and be a success. But they had the look and the tempo which could replicate into a success in 2015.

Think about how Maroon 5 has morphed their sound since they burst onto the scene almost ten years ago. Savage Garden has the ability to do the same thing if they really wanted to put their all behind it. However, the group went their separate ways in 2001 and there has been no talk of a comeback at all. They're even on record saying a reunion will never happen. Really guys? Just one more time?

1.) LAURYN HILL

I was a huge Lauryn Hill fan in the 90's, from when she was with the Fugees to her solo career. She ended up going on a self imposed exile in 2000 and ran into tax evasion issues in 2010.

If Hill could straighten up her life and push all her personal problems to the side, I think she would be an instant superstar whose music would resonate with millions of listeners not only across the country but the world.

We can only hope that day comes again soon for her.
