Thanks For A Great Holiday Food Drive!

Thanks to everyone who came out to make our Holiday Food Drive such a success!  We teamed up with all three of our sister radio stations and camped out in the cold at different Safeway locations on Saturday and raised lots of money and food donations for The Food Bank for Larimer County and The Weld  Food Bank.  I was in Greeley with K99’s Brian Gary and we saw, firsthand, just how generous Weld County can be.

These kinds of events always remind me of how much good there is in the world.  Lots of people opening their hearts and their wallets to those less fortunate, it just makes me proud to be a part of this community.  We even had some charitable children come by.  The sight of a little boy carrying a turkey that looks as big as he is towards the donation cart, or the little girl that emptied her piggy bank into the donation jar are just a few of the day’s highlights for me.  ‘Tis the season of giving and good will toward all.

Don’t forget that you can make donations year round to the food banks, people always need to eat.
