Tell Goldberg Where to Go: Fossil Creek Park

I have lived in Colorado for 10 years... but my family and I are new to Northern Colorado. So I have been enlisting the help of my listeners to help us get familiar with the area. Every week we're going to head out to some of the locations that you have suggested and we are going to document it here on my blog. Yesterday we went and checked out Fossil Creek Park. This is a great place to take the family. Not only is the playground large with innovative equipment (they have a giant wooly mammoth for crying out loud) the also have a great skate park, tennis courts, walking trails, a lake, roller hockey rinks, ball fields, a dog park and a great water area with shooting fountains for kids to play in on those hot summer days.  After getting the suggestion to check it out, I was surprised how many people hadn't heard of it.  You should definitely give it a try... you won't be disappointed.
