Trail Ridge Road, “Rocky Mountain National Park's heavily traveled highway to the sky” and the highest continuous paved road in America is now closed for the season. According to the Denver Post, the road is closed for the season as of today, Wednesday October 17th, 2012, ten days earlier that the road closed last year and its earliest closing in more than 10 years.
