Tomorrow, May 22nd, will mark six years since the day the small town of Windsor, Colorado and the people who live and work in the area, like myself, will never forget. It was the first time Weld County had seen an f3 tornado since 1950, and it's 130 to 150 mile per hour winds ripped a portion of the town apart.

A series of tornadoes hit Oklahoma Friday night, killing at least 13 people and leaving many more missing, without homes or stranded. Other storms and flooding also hit Arkansas and Missouri, and remnants of that severe weather moved east all the way to New England, where 19,000 are still without power on Monday morning.

A massive tornado touched down just south of Oklahoma City on Monday, killing dozens. At least seven of those killed were students at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore. The twister, which measured 2 miles at one point, has been given a preliminary classification of an EF-4 tornado (winds of 166 to 200 mph), according to weather officials.
