With Sports Authority's bankruptcy announcement and closure of 140 stores nationwide, it's safe to say there's a good chance the company will pull its name from the Broncos home field endorsement.
Sports Authority is supposed to move its Old Town location to the Foothills Mall this year. But with 140 store closures nationwide - 3 of which are in Colorado - it isn't too out of line to wonder, will Sports Authority pull the plug on its Foothills move before it even opens?
According to the Coloradoan, the site in downtown Fort Collins that currently has a Sports Authority occupying it will become a new grocery store once the sporting goods retailer moves to the Foothills Mall.
