After six years of being a local 'band university' incubator program, the non-profit SpokesBUZZ Fort Collins announced today (July 15) that it will be no more.

If you have a love for music and the local Fort Collins music scene, there could be a job in your own backyard that will allow you to follow your passion.

Fort Collins has some great local bands and one of those great local bands has just released a brand new single and they want to share it with you!

SpokesBUZZ, a nonprofit aimed at "raising global awareness of Fort Collins sound and culture by bringing worldwide attention to local bands" has released the news of four additions to their band line-up. (Also known as the SpokesBUZZ Class of 2014.) What bands made the list?

SXSW in Texas has pretty much become the music party of the year. And Colorado will be represented pretty nicely at SXSW 2013. There will be eight parties over a four day span that feature Colorado bands, Colorado beverages and Colorado sponsors at one of the biggest music festivals in the country. If you are looking for something to do on Sunday, how about joining me in Old Town Square in FoCo? This Sunday is the Spokesbuzz FoCo Bandchamps presented by Ottercares and it starts a 13 and goes til 6pm and I get to be a judge! I guess I need to pick a persona. Should I be like Simon or aloof like Paula, hmmm decisions decisions.

Tomorrow night a 'Battle of the Bands' competition is happening at Fort Collins High School. And 'Post Paradise' (A SpokesBUZZ band) will help do some of the judging. And, according to the SpokesBUZZ Facebook page, the band will even do a short performance!
