Poudre School District students got the day off today, but it looks like students in Loveland and Berthoud get to enjoy a snow day tomorrow. Thompson School District has announced that all schools will be closed tomorrow.

I have been a parent in the Poudre School District for many years and can only softly remember once before hearing of a school closure the day before. (I did the math and it made me sound really really old, so I decided to stick with 'MANY' years)

Finally, the words almost every kid in Poudre School District has been yearning to hear all week...snow day! According to the PSD website all of their schools will be closed tomorrow!

When you were a kid, what was the first thing that came to mind at the first signs of any snow? "Snow Day!" With different forecasts calling for anywhere from six to 22-inches of snow in the next day or so, I'm sure just about every school-aged kid is doing their best "snow dance" right now.
