October 24, 2011 The Fort Collins Zombie Fest ravaged Old Town Fort Collins this past Saturday night. Hundreds of costumed and non-costumed zombie-enthusiast took to the streets (and to the shops, bars, and restaurants) in Old Town. There were zombies from every age group and as promised, Zombie Fest was bigger and better in its sophomore year.

May 3, 2011 A late-night announcement made from the White House's East Room on Sunday set the world aflutter, and news of the death of Osama bin Laden quickly spread across the globe.
President Barack Obama announced Sunday night that bin Laden had been killed and his body taken into U.S. custody in Pakistan.
Word of the death of Al Qaeda's leader quickly spread, and politicians, celebrities and athletes began releasing statements while crowds gathered across the country in celebration of bin Laden's death.

February 15, 2011 Music had its biggest night on Sunday, and now its the dogs' turn to have their night(s). The 135th Westminster Dog Show wraps up today at Madison Square Garden in New York. This year there are six new breeds being allowed in the competition: Icelandic sheepdogs, redbone coonhounds, Leonbergers, Boykin spaniels, cane corsos and bluetick coonhounds.
