Motherhood Without Warning

I've been baking!!! I have been home so much more now that I have twin boys and because I'm nursing them, I'm starving all the time. Nothing satisfies better than a quick to grab, chewy, satisfying cookie bar. This has quickly become my favorite because it's high in protein, includes oatmeal(good for lactaction) and calls for all whole wheat flour, which is usually incredibly hard to make taste go

I've had my cat Hobbs for 14 years. He's lived in 3 different cities, at least 10 different homes and has now adjusted to having 3 kids around. He doesn't skip a beat for his age. He still owns the place and has no problem stealing the video I was trying to take of my twin boys. Cats!!!

I love spoofs on the mundane hilarious aspects of parenting. My husband and I laugh at ourselves(when we remember too) about the things that now fill our days and the words that come out of our mouths. This video captures it well!

I have quickly become a Mom of 3. I have 3 month old twin boys and a 3 year old daughter. The twins, I tell ya, WOW! It never crossed my mind what exactly having twins meant. Two of everything, the good, the bad and the extremely tired.

The ultrasound is an amazing mark of technology and a huge medical advance from the x-ray.  The kind of ultrasound I'm talking about is technically ultrasonography, the kind used to see fetuses in the womb. My husband and I are expecting identical twin boys sometime in May. Entering the world of twins is very different than expecting just one baby.  There is this whole mystical, intriguing thing about twins.
