There are some things you come across online that make you sit and wonder what goes on in people's minds. This time, I'm wondering about these pot-smoking Minions in a Colorado backyard.

Universal was already bathing in its Furious 7 and Jurassic World money Scrooge McDuck-style before Minions opened this week. Now the studio is looking at its third truly massive hit of the year, a run that feels nearly unprecedented. Universal already released two of the biggest movies of all time within the past four months, and now it’s looking like it may have three.

A ‘Minions’ movie shouldn't work. They were undoubtedly the best part of the ‘Despicable Me’ movies, and a very large part of why those films were successful. But, could they actually support their own movie? That would be like giving Kramer his own ‘Seinfeld’ spinoff. Yet, watching this new ‘Minions’ trailer has us totally hooked. This could actually work.

Football fans are no doubt excited for the 2015 Super Bowl. Heck, Marvel superheroes Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have a bet riding on it. But, even non-sports fans can find something to enjoy. No, we're not talking about Katy Perry's décolletage, we're talking about the Super Bowl movie trailers that will be airing during the commercial breaks. With the 2015 Super Bowl set to air on NBC this weekend, we thought now would be the perfect time to run through what we know is going to debut during the big game and what surprises could still be in store. The first full trailer for 'Minions' has arrived, highlighting the little yellow, gibberish-speaking sidekicks from 'Despicable Me,' who are getting their very own prequel/origin story. Set 42 years B.G. (Before Gru), the lovable little yellow goofballs are on a quest to find their next master after a series of mishaps throughout the years has left them without a leader.

Universal has released a new clip from its upcoming animated film 'Despicable Me 2.' In the clip above, Steve Carell's villainous Gru character and his companion, voiced by the amazing Kristen Wiig, get a little rescue help from those adorable minions. The tiny yellow guys get into their typical shenanigans behind the wheel of a car. Watch out Vin Diesel, the minions may be coming for your 'Fast and Furious' job.

I loved "Despicable Me" and I’m excited that there is a sequel due out next summer, but I was even more excited to learn that the Minions will be getting their own feature-length film!
