Measles

A person who has not been vaccinated and traveled internationally was diagnosed with measles and could have exposed citizens in the Denver and Boulder area according to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Colorado health officials have issued a warning to the public who shopped and have eaten at various locations that they may have been exposed to measles.

There have been two confirmed cases of measles in Denver, so the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is supplying extra MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) to county health departments to help control the spread of measles across the state. (These are our first cases of the measles since 2006.) The Larimer County Health Department is now offering the vaccine for $20.
