Save the Lyric Cinema Cafe in Fort Collins!

It's a known fact that I love movies. What may not be known is I am a huge fan of indie movies and art house flicks and most times those don't make it to the "commercial" theaters and that's one of the many reasons that I have a been a fan of the Lyric Cinema Cafe! They show those films that are great but usually go unnoticed because they don't have a huge marketing campaign or blockbuster actors. They also show FREE cartoons in the morning!!! And one of the best parts, you can drink some great local brews, or wine while watching a flick! What is not to love about that!? Now for the sad news. You may not have a place to check out those great films anymore!

When he told an employee about it the employee responded with, "it has happened before" and "yeah that happens when the sink in the kitchen is running."

The last thing I wanted was this once-in-a-lifetime moment to be interrupted by texts and email notifications.  The guy in this story, though, proposed to his lady in a way that was decidedly opposite from mine; he was updating his Twitter the whole time.

It seems like super-protective parenting has been a growing trend over the past few years.  Now, I'm not a parent (yet), but this invention seems like it might be talking things a little too far.
