Thankfully no damage or injuries occurred due to this strike.

Monday night a bear was killed in Woodland Park while climbing a tree during a lighting storm. Colorado Wildlife officials say the tree was struck by lightning while the bear was in it.

Lightning strikes over the weekend caused fires in Northern Colorado.
