Only a few days after Colorado State University got rid of their athletic director, the school has made a major decision in that very department. Three CSU coaches, including football head football coach Jim McElwain, had new contracts announced today (August 11).

Colorado State University has named Jim McElwain as the 20th head coach to lead the Rams' football program. McElwain was signed to a 5-year, $1.3 million contract. The 49 year-old coach most recenly served as the offensive coordinator at Alabama for the last four years. McElwain will remain on Alabama's staff through the national championship game on January 9th.

Colorado State University has a new Athletic director in Jack C. Grahm and he fired Coach Steve Fairchild two weeks ago. Who is going to be at the helm for the Rams football team next year? According to the Coloradoan it will be Jim McElwain, offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide. A team that will be competing for a national title next month.
