Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons has a wide range of sounds on their album Night Visions. "Radioactive" is a little more serious, or so I thought, this video is full of puppet-fighting and actor Lou Diamond Phillips makes an appearance. Interesting!!  

They're Back! The Colorado group that brought us 'Halo', 'Roll a D6' and 'SALE' are back with a nerdy anthem about the extremely popular video game 'Skyrim'.

This year's Sasquatch! Music Festival kicked off with a bang! Well ... OK, the weather wasn't exactly cooperative, as it rained on Friday and most of Monday, but that didn't stop thousands upon thousands of concertgoers from enjoying four days (May 24-27) of awesome music at the Gorge Amphitheater, one of the most beautiful venues in the country. The song 'Demons' was instantly one of my favorites when I first heard Imagine Dragons, they now have a video for the song, and at the end they do a tribute to Tyler Robinson a young man who lost his fight with cancer this year. A short tribute that had tears streaming down my face.

I have never broken a bone in my life, so the idea of breaking one kind of gives me the willies. Now, thanks to the world of social media, Imagine Dragons was able to share this photo of frontman Dan Reynolds getting his hand in a cast after breaking his wrist. Apparently he'll have surgery tomorrow and try to avoid missing any shows on their current tour. (This is why I'll never be a rockstar, if I broke my wrist I'd be on a plane back home sending out, "Tour's over," tweets.)

Imagine Dragons just tweeted some huge news. They announced some new U.S. tour dates and another Denver show is on the list! They'll be playing Red Rocks Amphitheater on May 16th. Wow, one of my favorite bands at one of my favorite venues. Bring on the concert season!

Imagine Dragons has quicly own me over. Their album Night Visions is full of musical surprises, great beats and the amazing voices of this band from Las Vegas.

This JD kid already has more musical talent than most. Check out the video he made of himself and a looping machine doing a cover of the Imagine Dragons song "It's Time." JD is only 8-years-old and lives in Colorado Spring and he won the band's social media cover song competition.

I have not been this excited for an album release in a long time. Imagine Dragons first full-length album comes out one week from today, it will be called "Night Visions" and the band just released a video with preview snippets of all 12 songs on the album. Imagine Dragons has put together one of my favorite EPs in recent memory. They stopped in our studios a few weeks back, then I saw them at the Aggie Theatre and have been putting their music on repeat ever since. Check out the video for their single "It's Time." (A song the was originally conceived on a laptop!)

Anything I write here would not even come close to describing how awesome this show was. I heard that they were amazing performers but to see if first hand, wow. The energy only stopped when they took that short break before the encore.

This afternoon the band 'Imagine Dragons' stopped by the Point studios. They're playing the Aggie Theatre tonight, they have a new EP called 'Continued Silence', a new album in the works, and a great new song in 'It's Time'.
