According to the Coloradoan, the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance are working to introduce a bill in the state legislature that would widen Interstate 25 in the near future instead of the projected finish date of 2070.

Starting October 21, construction will begin on the bridge over the Poudre River on Weld County Road 13. The bridge will be closed, so not even one-lane traffic will be able to get across.
