With less than 50 days until Opening Day, Rockies fans are starting to get excited for baseball to be back. But before the season gets into full swing, several Colorado players have the honor of participating in the World Baseball Classic.
Trevor Story, the 23-year-old rookie shortstop for the Colorado Rockies, is certainly getting into the swing of the new season, making history on Wednesday as being the first player in baseball to hit a home run in each of his first three Major League games.
"Let me root, root, root for the home team, if they don't win it's a shame." I know it's easy to pick on the Rockies, heck, they have finished either 4th or 5th in the NL West for the last five seasons.
While they might not always be the winners, sports teams hailing from Colorado certainly do have their fair share of talented players on them and always put up a good fight regardless of their opponent.
