The Colorado Eagles are no longer a part of the Central Hockey League (CHL). But don't be alarmed, it should be a good thing for the Eagles.
The team is coming off a heart-breaking game 7 loss in the CHL President's Cup Finals. They have played in the finals 5 out of the 8 years of their existence, and now they are moving on to bigger and better things.
Monday the team announced their acceptance into the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

Colorado Eagles Are In The Finals, Tix On Sale 10am Today
The Colorado Eagles beat the defending Central Hockey League (CHL) champion Rapid City Rush last night by a score of 1-0. The Eagles now advance to the Presidents' Cup Finals where they will have home-ice advantage over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in a best-of-seven series. The winner will take home the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup.
Game 1 starts tomorrow night at the Budweiser Events Center and tickets go on sale later this morning at 10am.
