Champ Bailey

Champ Bailey signed a one day contract with the Denver Broncos, so that he could retire as a Denver Bronco. Well played Champ, well played.

When the Denver Broncos released Champ Bailey earlier this off-season it was probably unrealistic, but fans like me still held hope that he would either retire as a Bronco or never get picked up by another team, and convince John Elway to have him back. Those thoughts were officially squashed today as Bailey signed a deal to become a member of the New Orleans Saints.

Here goes Manning again... breaking records every day it seems like. This year he will make his 12th appearance in the Pro Bowl, the most for any quarterback. Four others Broncos made the team this year.

I really like this move. A lot of people had Champ leaving and the Broncos using the number two pick on a cornerback. Now the Broncos can focus on a need in the first round and get a corner in the later rounds to learn under Champ. Us Bronco fans are sick of losing all of our talent, I am glad we are keeping Champ...
