When you think of Fort Collins what comes to mind? I bet I can guess what two of those things are for almost every person… Mountains and beer. The mountains have taken center stage with the High Park Fire burning them for almost two weeks. But the beer gets to shine this weekend. The 23rd annual Colorado Brewers’ Festival will be held at Civic Center Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 22-24

I know we are spoiled rotten with the great breweries and brewery events we have in Fort Collins. But let me tell you, our friends in Cheyenne know how to throw a party too. Check out the 2012 Wyoming Brewer's Festival this Friday and Saturday at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza. A weekend full of fun, food, live music, and lots of great beers!

‘The Olympics of Beer Competition’ as it is referred to in the brewing industry. The World Beer Cup brings together great brewers from all corners of the globe. Plus, the awards are highly regarded. A brewer who wins a World Beer Cup gold award knows that their winning beer represents the best of that beer style in the world. Fort Collins brewers took home three medals last weekend at the event

The idea of visiting all of Fort Collins' breweries in an afternoon always sounds so tempting, but the idea of so many people drinking beers and then driving between breweries is not the best idea in the world. However, good news is afoot! Starting today two new brewery service shuttles begin operation in Fort Collins!

We all know Garrett Dutton better as ‘G. Love’ (As in ‘G. Love and Special Sauce’). Well, this summer he will be collaborating with Fort Collins' very own New Belgium Brewing Company to create a new beer!

It looks like New Belgium Brewing Company has made a decision on expanding outside of Fort Collins. Apparently New Belgium has it’s eyes on Asheville, N.C. for a new facility.

According to the Coloradoan "Black Bottle Brewing Co. is one step closer to making its Fort Collins’ brewery a reality." The brewery made announcements on their Facebook and Twitter pages yesterday, saying they hope to be open in late spring or early summer.
