Heath Kufahl and his wife were at an Oklahoma City Thunder game and were picked to compete at halftime against another couple for a chance to win $20,000. Well, in the first round, Heath and his wife made more shots than the other couple. Beating that couple is what gave Heath the chance at the half-court shot.

For the third time this year Colorado State University introduced a new coach for one of it’s major sports teams. Monday the Rams introduced Ryun Williams as the new head man for it’s women’s basketball team. Williams replaces Kristen Holt, who agreed to resign after four years following a 13-17 season this past year at CSU.

The Fray sang the National Anthem last night at the NCAA Championship game.  They definitely sang it differently than most people are used to hearing it.  Several people today are slamming them for that difference saying it was disrespectful and that the audience was upset that they didn't know how to sing along. The Washington Post called it "a little weird." The Houston Chronicle carried the headline "The Fray's Dreadful National Anthem."  What do you think?

Enthusiastic CSU Men's Basketball Coach Tim Miles accepted an offer yesterday to coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers next year. After leading CSU to the NCAA tournament this year, this is a real loss for CSU. We can only hope Miles' replacement can keep the enthusiasm of the team going.

The Fort Collins High School girls basketball team has been riding a late season romp and have made their way to the 5A state semifinals. The Lambkins will take on Regis tonight at the Coors Events Center in Boulder.
