That's because it was just announced that Arapahoe Basin will officially be opening for the season at the end of the week, courtesy of good ol' Mother Nature.

Wolf Creek won the race in the first to open this year last weekend, but that's a 6-hour drive from Fort Collins. A-basin is one of the 5 closest resorts to Fort Collins.
