Taco Bell is being taken to court over the term "beef." A firm is claiming that there is not enough beef in their beef to be deemed beef. Where's the beef? HA! Apparently you have to have at least 40% beef to label the product a beef taco. Look, I understand why these people want everyone to know what they are getting, but anytime I get fast food I am never under the assumption that I am getting 100% beef.

The Beasley Allen firm, based in Montgomery, filed suit Jan. 19 alleging that Taco Bell puts just 38 percent beef in the "beef filling" in its offerings. The firm wants to force Taco Bell to tell consumers exactly what they are getting when they buy burritos, tacos and other items that say "beef" but in fact contain "seasoned ground beef filling." The fast food company says the lawsuit has all the facts wrong.
