UPDATE: Suspect in Weekend Murder in Longmont has Ties to Loveland
Loveland Police have arrested the man accused of killing another man in a Walmart parking lot over the weekend. Joseph Anderson was found in a vehicle around 5 last night. Longmont Police say Anderson killed 33-year-old Keith Williams in Longmont early Sunday morning. He is charged with second-degree murder. Little is known about what led up to the shooting. Because the shooting happened in a part of Longmont that lies in Weld County, Anderson will be held in custody and go through the court process in Greeley.
9News Denver reports that police say this murder suspect has ties to Littleton and Loveland.They are asking the public to help find the man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in a Walmart parking lot. As is common in an ongoing investigation, there are few details yet.
34-year-old Joseph Anderson is accused of shooting a man in the Longmont store’s parking lot early yesterday morning. Questions remain unanswered as to what led up to the shooting or Anderson’s relation to the male victim. Authorities have only identified him as a 23-year-old Longmont man.
Anderson was last seen driving a black Nissan Murano convertible with Colorado plates DBQ-998. Yesterday afternoon Westminster police found and impounded the car but Anderson was not in it. Police say he has ties to Littleton and Loveland.
Anderson is armed. If you see him, you’re urged to call 911 immediately.
