We have all been there. We are driving along, having a great time when all of the sudden an animal runs out in front of us. If you remember your drivers ed you will remember that you are not supposed to swerve, you are supposed to just drive and hope that you miss it. But lets be honest, most try to swerve and not hit the little creature unless, you are one of the ones that tries to hit them NASA conducted a road experiment, because hey why not, and they found that some people were swerving to try and hit the animal that was in the road. 94% of the drivers avoided the rubber animals that were used in the experiment and 6% hit them.

They used rubber turtles, snakes and spiders on the road for the experiment. I think that might have something to do with the people trying to hit them considering I know a lot of people who don't like snakes, or spiders (Beano).

What do you do when you see an animal in the road?

I did something simular to this when I was in high school. I tied bailing rope around a skunk puppet and dragged it across the road at 2 in the morning. One person almost went into the ditch trying to hit the poor little thing. It was crazy!
