Stolen Vehicle in Larimer County Takes Pooches for Joyride

Great news for dog lovers!

Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith posted on his Facebook about how a car was stolen the other day- with the owner’s dogs inside- but all turned out OK!

I wonder what tale these dogs would tell.  Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith was pretty excited the other night, as he took to Facebook to talk about a solved-crime:

Happy Dogs! Last night, deputies recovered a stolen vehicle up the Poudre Canyon. The interesting part is that when the car was stolen a few days earlier, the owner's two dogs were inside and when the vehicle was recovered, the two dogs were still inside, still apparently healthy. So far, the dogs are not talking, but I'm quite sure the owner was relieved.

No word on the breed of the dogs, or their names..  So it’ll be hard for the paparazzi to track them down for photos
