St. Patrick’s Day Fort Collins- 5k & Parade!

St. Patrick's Day Fort Collins is this Saturday, March 17th! 5k's, parades and several family friendly activities are taking place.  The weather is set to be sunny and 70 as well.  Get out your green and join in the fun. 5k and parade details are as follows:

2012 Sharin' O' The Green 5k Run/Walk- Starting and finishing at Odell Brewing. Benefits Partners Mentoring Youth. 7:00 - 8:00AM-Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup; 8:15AM -Kid's Shamrock Scurry ; 8:30AM-5K Run/Walk Starts; 9:30AM-Awards Ceremony.  Sign up here.

St. Patrick's Day Parade- Bagpipes, Irish dogs and lots of green! Bring the kids and celebrate the luck of the Irish at 10:00am when the parade begins on Walnut Ave (North side of Old Town Sq.)   The parade route (print map here) is North on Walnut, turns south on College Ave and travels in the south bound lanes until making a left on Magnolia. The last stretch of the parade will be north along Remington Ave. until it connects with Mountain again! The parade is FREE to the public and open to all!
