If you lived during the nineties you were probably a fan of grunge rock. I was probably one of it's biggest fans! Bands like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Someone recently told me that rock was dead. Of course I always knew they were wrong but if you take that side of the argument then just take a look at the sold out crowd for Soundgarden at Red Rocks in the gallery above.

I did get to see Soundgarden on the final tour through Denver some 12 years ago, of course I had no idea that would be their last tour until they reunited this year. This show was a first for many of my friends who never got to see them live. It was absolutely amazing! They played song after song and Chris Cornell did not miss one note as he belted out every tune you could have hoped for. Including a personal favorite of mine Fourth of July. If you missed the show dont worry, they will be releasing a new album and tour supporting that album. Below a video I found on youtube from the show. Not the best sound quality but it features Searching With My Good Eye Closed and Spoonman. To watch Spoonman only skip ahead to 5:20.
