Something Doesn’t Add Up With This Sale Price

Last night I went over to the home improvement store to pick up some more herbs and vegetables for my garden. The big neon green SALE sign drew me in thinking I was about to get a good deal on a couple of plants! Upon further inspection, something didn't seem quite right... I am not sure, you tell me.

Needless to say, I didn't end up taking part in this "SALE"... If you want to call it that. I don't think it even comes close to counting as a sale if you have to pay 32 cents more per item over the regular everyday price.
