I’m a local guy. I grew up in Longmont, where I graduated from Longmont High School in 1999. My love of music and radio blossomed as I got my start working at the 100-watt powerhouse KCDC (A student radio station at the Career Development Center). I then moved to Ft. Collins at get a bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University and spent 3/4 of my waking hours working at KCSU (CSU’s student run radio station). I have been working for Townsquare Media for over 6 years in various positions and now call the morning show on 99.9 The Point my home.
I’m a little quirky, a little odd, and a self-proclaimed “geek” (what is being a ‘geek’ other than having passion about something?) I live in Windsor with my wonderful wife and our two corgis. I love being a part of this community and all that Northern Colorado has to offer.
I have a penchant for hot wings, scooters, and super heroes, but I’ll try just about anything to keep life exciting. (Except for seafood. Never liked it, never will.)

The wind is reeking havoc in the Colorado Mountains and all along the Front Range. A High Wind Warning is in effect until tomorrow morning. Highway 287 and Highway 85 were both closed last night, but have since been re-opened. I-25 from the Wyoming border to Cheyenne is restricted for high-profile vehicles or light trailers this morning. I-25 North of Cheyenne is closed due to winter conditions.

In St. Louis a 38-year-old Aryan Nations member and a 22-year old documented black gang member were in cahoots and now face a slew of Meth-related drug charges.

So, let me start of by saying that all those cliché phrases you hear from parents are all true, every last one of them. (Having a kid will 'change your life’, ‘be the best thing ever’, ‘be different once it’s YOUR kid’, etc.)
There is no way to articulate it, explain it, or make anyone who hasn't had the experience believe it. But the day your newborn child comes into the world is like no other.
My wife and I welcomed a little girl into the world this month and I’m sure you’ll hear plenty about her in the future (Although, I swore to myself I wouldn’t become one of those people who can’t talk about anything other than their kid). Allow me to introduce you to my daughter, Annabelle.

Sunshine State police arrested a woman after she allegedly got so upset that the driver in front of her took so long to order that she rammed into his car.

Their latest endeavor was made in a partnership with Chevrolet where the band set up over 1,000 instruments over two miles of desert in California and played them all by driving a Chevy Sonic through the course with pneumatic arms and microphones attached to in.

I’m sure most cops think they’ve heard just about every excuse in the book from drunks behind the wheel, but this might be a new one.
A 49-year-old Florida woman was pulled over for suspicion of driving under the influence, and she tried to use her large lady parts as an excuse for not being able to complete road-side tests.

So, the big game is over. I had a good time and ate way too much great food while watching it, but the game itself? Kind of boring this year.
The commercials? Mostly lackluster, but there were a few that made me giggle.
