Oh, thank God it’s not just me!   It’s that time of year for shorter days and longer nights . . . and more food.  It’s winter!   And I’m hungry — more hungry than I am in the warmer months.  Despite watching my diet and maintaining my regular workout schedule, I find that I’m craving more food.  Well, researchers say that I’m not alone.  It turns out that it’s pretty common for us to take in more calories in the winter months.  According to the folks over at NPR, it could be a combination of environmental factors and historical training.  Click here to read why we consume more calories in winter.
