RIP Tyler Gallegos – Fort Collins High School Student Killed In Car Wreck

Yet another tragedy struck a school-aged student in our community. According to the Coloradoan, 18-year-old Tyler Gallegos died on Wednesday in a crash on I-25 near the Colorado-Wyoming border.
Gallegos, 18, was driving northbound on I-25 in his 2002 Subaru Impreza. In the area of mile markers 295-296, Gallegos drove around a long-sweeping curve, and the vehicle went off the right side of the road and down an embankment.
So many young lives have been taken from our community in the past few months, but it never gets any easier, especially for those who were close to Gallegos.
My heart goes out to his family, friends and schoolmates at Fort Collins High School.
