Ring in 2017 on the Romantic Royal Gorge New Year’s Eve Dinner Train

New Year's Eve could easily be spent on the couch watching the ball drop on TV, but why not spend it with your sweetheart traveling along the Royal Gorge Route on a romantic dinner train?

When you board the Royal Gorge NYE Dinner Train, you'll be seated at tables of 4, likely with another couple if it's just the two of you. (You can also purchase a private table, but that will cost you an arm and a leg.)

Once the train leaves the depot, you can relax with a glass of wine or any cocktail your heart desires from the trains fully stocked bar. In between courses you can get up and take in the fresh Colorado winter air in the Open Air car while stealing a New Year's kiss (as suggested by Royal Gorge Route Railroad - I mean, this is New Year's Eve after all).

The train departs at 6:30 p.m. and tickets cost $119 per person in a dining car, and $129 per person in the Observation Dome. The ride lasts 3 hours and any children accompanying you must be at least 8 years of age. (But let's be honest, you'll want to leave the kids at home if you can.)
