Every year on 9-11 I reflect on the events that happened 13 years ago. Remembering where I was, how I felt and how what happened that day affected me, my family and our country. Everything forever changed that day and it is something that needs to be remembered not just one day out of the year. With the loss of so much life on our soil it is an event that should be remembered every time you see a Veteran, sing the National Anthem, see the American Flag or to put us in check when we take our freedoms for granted. I understand that there are atrocities that occur all over the world on a daily basis and we as a nation and guiding light for the world show do what we can to help those around us. However that is why we must be even more thankful for what we have build as a nation. A country where we have the freedoms we have while also enjoying the safety and quality of life provided. As I reflect on where I was 13 years ago I have provided some photos of the 13 year tribute happening at the impact site of that day so may years ago on this day.
